REVIEW: The Top 5 Best Songs Of “Playboy” Album by Fireboy DML
insane Level of Consistency and Uniqueness – Playboy Review
Fireboy’s “Playboy” is another confirmation that the singer is in a class of his own. This makes it his 3rd album in 3 years, a commendable consistency, and also, his uniqueness which means his unassailable musical artistry is unscathed.
He followed his personal blueprints on his previous works such as “Love, Tears and Goosebumps” and “Apollo“, I can’t really single out a Cheesy song out of the 14 songs enlisted in the “Playboy” melodic treatise.
To say the least, the features were classy and exceptional. Names such as Ed Sheeran (Peru remix), Rema (Compromise), Chris Brown and the underrated Jamaican Shensea(Diana), YBNL’s Rave of the moment -Asake, and little-known American Euro signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money label (Adore).
Just like in his last album where he featured D-smoke who wasn’t so popular among music fans. He did the same by featuring Euro this time on “adore you”, call it a smart move?. I couldn’t agree more.
The most amazing thing about this album and Fireboy generally is the uniqueness of his sound. He hardly makes any notable sample but sounds unadulterated and flawless. At this point, if we take the boy out of his name, he’ll be straight up Fire🔥
The Top 5 best songs of the album are;
- Ashawo
- Compromise ft Rema
- Diana ft Chris Brown & Shensea
- Afro Highlife
- Having Fun
