Fireboy talks joint album and EP with Omah Lay and Rema

Nigerian singer Fireboy DML has talked about the possibility of recording a joint album and EP with his colleagues Omah Lay and Rema, respectively.

While speaking on The Afrobeats Podcast, with popular UK-based podcaster Adesope Olajide, Fireboy hinted on dropping a collaborative album and EP with Omah Lay and Rema, respectively, saying that ‘collaboration brings money and more opportunities’ for the artists.

The 26-year-old, in the revealing conversation, said he loves the friendly relationship between him and his colleagues.

He told Adesope that they (new artists) all learnt to not repeat the same mistake which their senior colleagues made.

The YBNL star also said that hostility between artists would not yield anything fruitful, instead collaborating with one another would result in money and open more opportunities for them.

He finished his statement, saying ‘imagine a Fireboy-and-Rema EP or a Fireboy-and-Omah Lay joint album’.
