The have been many music artistes that went to the Big Brother Naija show to showcase their talent to the world but nothing much has been heard about those artistes following the end of the show. This article is set to ask the question: Why do music artistes that went to Big Brother Naija find it hard to blow:
Since the inception of the show, there has been quite a lot of music artistes on the show, the likes of Efe, Laycon, Trikkytee, Vee, Omashola, Whitemoney and a handful of others were all music artistes before the show, even after the show, however not a lot has been heard about this artistes.
What happens in most cases is that they will enjoy the stardom for a year, immediately another season begins, these artistes tend to fizzle out. Some are of the opinion that they are not good enough, while others say that they do not blow because they will have to work twice as much the ordinary musician who didn’t use the show to market him or herself.

Star singer Olurunyomi Oluruntimilehin popularly known as BadBoy Timz, made a very interesting comment in one of his recent interview with Hip Tv, the singer discloses how he doesn’t generate enough monetary funds from his music streams.
The singer who has failed to record a single song for 2024 as urged Co- artist to invest more on music tours and other music channels rather than music streams only.
The singer was quoted saying .
“As an artiste you cannot depend on music streams because it is not substantial. Most of the earnings from music streams are reinvested on promotion.“So, what I do is go on tours. I’m always trying to get Visas to tour different countries. I have been touring for over a year now. So I advised my colleagues to make more money from shows and seek sponsorships.”

Speaking in a recent interview, fan favourite Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema had this to say about his personal genre of Music which is known as Afro Rave the singer spoke on the controversies surrounding it and how it had to adapt it self with other music genres within Africa
The singer revealed how impossible it was to accept Afro rave as a new sound sample within the music scene at first, the singer also disclosed how he had to take up Afro rave as an extraction from the main genre people are used to which is Afro beat .
