Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ with American pop singer Selena Gomez has become the all-time biggest debut for an Afrobeats song on Worldwide iTunes Song Chart.
Rema, who released the remix to his sleeper hit ‘Calm Down’ Friday (August 26), achieved this huge milestone barely 24 hours after the remix dropped.
According to Worldwide iTunes Song Chart, Rema‘s ‘Calm Down [remix]’ featuring American pop singer Selena Gomez is number 8 on the chart.
This remains the highest debut entry for an Afrobeats song till date, making Rema the first Nigerian artist to have such a big debut on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart.
