‘I DJ For The Number 1 Artist In The World’ — DJ Tunez Hails Wizkid As He Breaks New Record In African Music History
The official DJ to Nigerian superstar Wizkid, DJ Tunez hails his principal Wizkid as he breaks new record in African music history.
On Monday (August 29), the Nigerian Grammy award-winning singer Wizkid’s fourth album, titled ‘Made In Lagos’, was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Wizkid became the first and currently the only African singer to earn an RIAA album certification. In other words, ‘Made In Lagos’ has become the first ever album in the history of African music to be certified RIAA gold.
Reacting to the new record-breaking milestone, DJ Tunez, who has been the official DJ of Wizkid for a long time, hailed him in a Twitter post on Monday (August 29).
The DJ, in a tweet posted to his verified handle, hailed Wizkid as the ‘number 1’ artist in the world.
