Grammy award-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy sets a new record as ‘Last Last’ becomes the fastest song in the history of Afrobeats to be eligible for gold in the US.

On September 10, Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ became eligible for a RIAA gold certification, having sold Over 500,000 units in the United States.
‘Last Last’ is now the fastest Afrobeats song to be eligible for a gold certification in the US. The song broke Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ record.
‘Last Last’ was released on 13 May 2022. That is, it completed 500,000 units in the US under 4 months!
