‘You Could’ve Saved My Mama’s Life’ – Skales Links Late Mother’s Death With Estranged Wife, Previews Diss Track
Nigerian rapper and singer Skales links his late mother’s death with his estranged wife.
In an unreleased diss track he previewed on Instagram Wednesday morning, Skales, 31, raps about how his deceased mother couldn’t be saved by her daughter-in-law even though they lived close by.
Skales raps in the track, ‘Disappointed by the one I called fam(family). This wasn’t no love, it was all for the gram. How can you be so insensitive, you could have saved my mama’s life. You were ten minutes away from the crib’.
The Sunday before, after the deceased’s death was just announced, Skales called out his wife for being fake and mourning his mother on social media. He wrote, ‘Take this post down; show this same care in real life. Stop doing this for the gram. Don’t get me angry’.
Skales, born John Njenga-Njeng, married his wife, Precious Hassanity, a chef, in September 2021. They stayed together married until this year’s October when their marriage reportedly crashed.
