I Want To Live Forever Like Bob Marley — Wizkid Reveals His Career Goals
Nigerian Afro-pop sensation Wizkid has revealed one of his career goals is ‘to live forever’ like Jamaican legendary singer Bob Marley.
In his recent interview with Guardian UK, Wizkid (born Ayodeji Balogun) reveals how he was inspired by Reggae legend Bob Marley after watching a play about him.
According to him, his next chapter in life is ‘to live for ever, not physically, but for whatever I create to live for ever’.
He went to see the Bob Marley musical themed Get Up, Stand Up! (And he was overwhelmed at the end of the show.)
‘I didn’t even know that he (Bob Marley) died at 36. He did so much at a young age’, Wizkid tells The Guardian.
He continues, ‘It just reaffirms what I do; I have to keep taking this to the highest heights. Because I know one day they’re definitely going to create a play about me’.
