Are Vector and Ladipoe About to Diss Wizkid? (Here is What We Know)
In the past few days, social media has carried an agenda that Rappers Vector the viper and Ladipoe are about to release a diss song for Wizkid, but are these claims correct? Keep reading as we give you all the information about this claim and what we think.
Wizkid in his recent interview with the popular magazine 10, made it known that he does not listen to rap music and in fact, rap was dead to him – In his words
“If I’m being honest, I don’t listen to any other genre of music anymore.” “I don’t listen to rap – that sh*t is boring to me. It’s dead now, it’s tired. These guys do the same shit, rap on the same beats”.
The above claims raised concerns with a lot of Nigerians who thought Wizkid was being too condensing to rappers, this also lead to rapper Oladips releasing a freestyle video tagged “Mr. She Tell Me Say“. Rappers such as Erigga, MI Abaga, Ycee, and others have all reacted to this news.
This leads us to the main topic of the post – Are Vector and Ladipoe really dropping a diss song for Wizkid following his claim rap was dead?
Ladipoe first post in the heat of the moment probably gave people the idea that there might be a diss track coming soon.
