Burna Boy Explains Why He Was Late To His Lagos Concert
Afrobeat sensation, Burna Boy has apologized to his fans for being late for his Lagos show.
At the event, which had the theme “Love Damini Concert,” Burna Boy criticized the organizers on stage for the reason for his performance being late.
Fans, however, have rushed to social media to express their ire about his lateness to the event, claiming he doesn’t respect them by throwing tantrums and abusing them.
The Grammy-winning artist responded to the outburst by posting on his own Instagram account saying ” “Lagos, I love you but I can’t do this again. The organizational structure and infrastructure are not there for the complexities of my audio and production needs”.
Burna Boy stated that he is collaborating with various investors and stakeholders to prevent future events since he wants to keep providing his fans with top-notch shows.
“I know I can’t go all over the world and neglect my own people so I’m taking matters into my own hands! I’m gathering the troops to work on building world-class infrastructure in the Nigerian entertainment business”.
