Singer Blackface Accuses Asake Of Song Theft
Nigerian singer Blackface has accused his junior colleague Asake of song theft.
Singer Blackface, who is a former member of the Plantashun Boiz, alongside legendary singer 2Face Idibia and Faze, called out the Rave-of-the-moment Asake on his Twitter account for sing theft.
In a series of tweets, Blackface accused Asake of remixing his song ‘Ikebe Super’ without being given permission. According to Blackface, Asake’s ‘Joha’ is a remix of ‘one of his song ‘Ikebe Super’.
He continued that Asake and his boss, Olamide, had $165k to pay for a TG Omori video but not 100 naira airtime to call him before using the song.
