American rapper, Future says Nigerian singer Tems is the part of their Grammy award-winning song ‘Wait For You’.
Recently, Future won his second Grammy award (and his first Grammy award for his own song). His song ‘Wait For You’, which features Tems and Drake, won the Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.
The award also became an historical one for Tems, who made headlines as the first, and so far the only, Nigerian female artist in history to win a Grammy award.
On her Instagram story, Tems shares the letter and gift (a bouquet of flowers) she received from the rapper. In the letter, Future tells Tems that she’s the best part of ‘Wait For You’.
He wrote in the letter, ‘Tems, accept this token of beauty as a thank you for being the best part of our Grammy Award Winning song. This is just the beginning’.
