Banky W loses Eti-Osa federal constituency position to Labour Party’s candidate Attah
Bankole Wellington, well known as Banky W, has lost his bid to represent the Eti-Osa federal constituency at the House of Representatives.
The singer-actor lost to Peter Obi’s Labour Party candidate Thaddeus Attah who polled 24,075 votes, whereas Banky W (PDP) polled 18,666 votes, and Babajide Obanikoro (APC) polled 16,901 votes.
This is the second time in a row Banky W has contested for the position and lost. In 2019, he also contested and lost.
