Calm Down Wizkid's Essence record Billboard Hot 100

‘Calm Down’ is set to break Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ record as highest charting Nigerian song on Billboard Hot 100.

‘Calm Down’, the viral hit song by Nigerian singer Rema and Selena Gomez, is expected to peak in the Top 10 of the popular US music chart, Billboard Hot 100 next week.

This was made known by Chart Data on Thursday via Twitter.

The track currently sits at number19 on the chart and has been predicted to peak higher next week.

It’s challenging Wizkid‘s ‘Essence’ (featuring Tems and Justin Bieber), which peaked at 9 in 2021, for highest charting Nigerian song of all time on Billboard Hot 100.

If ‘Calm Down’ breaks into Top 10 as predicted and peaks above 9, it will automatically become the highest charting Nigerian/African song of all-time on Billboard Hot 100.

Can ‘Calm Down’ break Wizkid’s record on Billboard Hot 100?
