Nigerian rapper Dandizzy has revealed why Wizkid is the most influential Nigerian artist ever.
The Port-Harcourt-born rapper made this known on his Twitter page on Sunday, March 19.
Dandizzy revealed that Grammy-winning Afrobeats singer Wizkid had the best run in the Nigerian music industry ever.
He mentioned that no other artist has had the kind of influence the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer had on young people when he was at his prime.
He cited some examples, such as boys reshaping their jeans and dressing like Wizkid as well as adding Wizkid’s moniker ‘Wizzy’ to their names, while young girls using his pictures as their wallpapers.
According to Dandizzy, all of these make Wizkid a legend and the most influential Nigerian artist ever.
