Nigerian music artist BNXN, formerly known as Buju, has explained why he and his colleague Ruger fight each other on social media (Twitter).
It’s no news that Ruger and BNXN have exchanged words different times on Twitter over who’s better.
BNXN, speaking in a recent interview, revealed why they fought on social media.
According to him, he’s a fan of Ruger’s music and they’re cool, but, in order to maintain longevity in the music industry, artists must have a personality, which they are known for.
He pointed out that music is not enough to remain relevant in the industry, so fans have to know each artist for something other than music.
He then cited Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido as examples. He said Burna Boy is well known for replying to people who come at him while Wizkid is known for keeping silent and not responding to diss.
