Why I Removed Omah Lay’s Verse From ‘Finesse’ – Pheelz

Nigerian singer and producer Pheelz has revealed why he removed Omah Lay’s verse from his hit song ‘Finesse’.

In a recent podcast interview, Pheelz opened up on why Omah Lay was taken off ‘Finesse’, his 2022 smash hit single featuring BNXN (fka Buju).

Apparently, there’s another verse on the song, and it’s originally meant to be Pheelz, BNXN and Omah Lay. However, the verse by Omah Lay was taken off the song.

Speaking of the reason the verse was removed, Pheelz said that the same day the song was supposed to drop was the day Omah Lay was releasing his song ‘Attention’ with Justin Bieber.

He noted that he had to drop Omah Lay from the song for that reason and release it with just his and BNXN’s verses.

He said, ‘The original “Finesse” was Pheelz, Benson (BNXN) and Omah Lay. That was the final track.

It now happened that the day we’re going to release it was the same day Omah was dropping his track (Attention) with Justin’.

He also revealed that he might release another ‘Finesse’ featuring the verse and that there’s also a Reekado Banks verse.
