Man Queries Davido For Not Singing About His Recent Tragedy, He Responds
Nigerian music star Davido responded after being queried by a man for not singing about his recent tragedy in his latest album ‘Timeless’.
While answering questions at a press conference for his upcoming concert in Lagos, Davido was asked why his recent album ‘Timeless’ doesn’t have much soul in it.
The interviewer stated that the songs on the album weren’t what people were expecting, that people were waiting to hear about his tragedy regarding his son’s death.
However, the man was cut off by Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, before he could finish his questions.
In response, Davido explained that everyone knew he was the kind of artist whose music was about happy vibe, whether he’s going through an ordeal or not.
He also noted that the vision he had for that particular album didn’t allow him to sing about such event. ‘There’s time for that’, he said.
