Why I Didn’t Want Manchester City To Win Champions League Final – Burna Boy Reveals
Grammy award-winning Afrobeats singer, Burna Boy has revealed that he never wanted Manchester City to win the UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan.
On Saturday night, Manchester City beat Inter Milan to win its first-ever Champions League cup. City defeated Inter 1-0 to win the trophy.
The Nigerian megastar, Burna Boy had performed before the match at The Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, setting a record as the first African artist to perfrom at the UEFA Champions League Final.

While speaking with Paramount+ shortly after the game, Burna Boy revealed that he didn’t want Manchester City to win because he is a fan of Manchester United, which is considered City’s arch rival.
‘This was most amazing thing, even though I honestly didn’t want City to win for sentimental reasons, it’s okay’, he said.
