Iyanya Reacts After Yvonne Nelson Claims He Cheated With Tonto Dikeh
Afrobeats singer Iyanya has reacted to the claim by Ghanaian actress Yvonne that he cheated on her with Nollywood’s Tonto Dikeh.
Yvonne Nelson, in her new book “I am not Yvonne Nelson,” discusses her past relationship with Nigerian singer Iyanya and how he cheated on her with fellow actress Tonto Dikeh.
In the Chapter Ten of the book named “Iyanya and my Love Life,” Yvonne claims her relationship with Iyanya ended when she found out he was cheating with Tonto Dikeh.
She wrote in part, “One can therefore imagine my shock when I returned to Ghana after one of my visits to Nigeria and someone called me from his house. The caller said anytime I left Iyanya’s place, another actress came over to him and sometimes slept over. The person felt strongly that there was something going on between them and thought I should know. That actress turned out to be Tonto Dikeh of Nigeria, one of the female celebrities Iyanya named in his ‘Ur Waist’ song.”
In reaction to Yvonne’s claim, Iyanya took to his verified Twitter page on Monday afternoon (June 19) and said he would respond to the allegation later.
He wrote on Twitter, “So Yvonne Nelson said I cheated on her with Tonto Dike? Oh wow. I’ll respond to this later. I no go write book, but….For now make I go watch my new video Director just send me now. Love & Trust Ft Joeboy (sic).”
