Grammy-winning Afrobeats megastar, Burna Boy has accomplished a new feat as his hit single ‘Ye’ got certified Platinum in the UK.
On Friday (June 30), ‘Ye’, the 2018 hit song by Nigerian singer Burna Boy, got Platinum certification in the UK, according to Chart Data on Twitter.
‘Ye’, produced by Phantom, was the song with which Burna Boy became an international sensation in 2018. It also appeared on his ‘Outside’ album, released in 2018.
For a song to be certified Platinum in the UK, it must have sold no fewer than 600,000 units in the country. That is, ‘Ye’ by Burna Boy had reached this measure to get the certification.
