Burna Boy, Tems Lead As Spotify Unveils Top 10 Afrobeats Artists Globally [See Full List]
One of the world’s most recognized music streaming platforms, Spotify has unveiled the top 10 Afrobeats artists globally.
On Thursday (July 7), Spotify released a list compiling the top 10 Afrobeats artists globally on their platform, Burna Boy and Tems leading the male and female artists respectively.
Burna Boy was listed as the number one top Afrobeats artist globally, followed by Wizkid and Rema assuming the number two and three positions.
Tems, on there other hand, was the first female artist to be mentioned at number five, followed by Ayra Starr and Amaaree at number nine and ten.
From the list, it’s clear that Burna Boy, Wizkid and Rema are the top three Afrobeats artists globally, according to Spotify.
