Billboard Predicts Afrobeats Songs For ‘Best African Music Perfromance’ Nomination Ahead Of 2023 Grammy Awards

Billboard has released a list of Afrobeats songs likely to be nominated under the new category, ‘Best African Music Perfromance’ at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

In a recent article about predictions for the upcoming Grammy nominations, Billboard mentioned potential Afrobeats songs that might be competing for the ‘Best African Music Perfromance’, a category recently created by the Grammys, at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

According to the listicle by Billboard, Afrobeats stars like Asake, Davido, and Rema stand a chance to grab a nomination spot in the soon-to-be-released 2023 Grammy nominations.

The Afrobeats songs predicted by Billboard to be nominated are: ‘2:30’ by Asake; ‘Amapiano’ by Asake (feat. Olamide); ‘Charm’ by Rema; ‘Party No Dey Stop’ by Adekunle Gold (feat. Zinoleesky); ‘People’ by Libianca; ‘Reason’ by Omah Lay; ‘Sittin’ on Top of the World’ by Burna Boy; ‘Sowteto’ by Victony & Tempoe; and ‘Unavailable’ by Davido (feat. Musa Keys).
