Nigerians Slam Diamond Platnumz For ‘Stealing’ Spyro’s Hit Song ‘Who Is Your Guy?’ [Video]
Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz has faced heavy criticism from Nigerians for releasing a song that sounds similar to Spyro’s hit song ‘Who Is Your Guy?’.
Diamond Platnumz recently released a song titled ‘Enjoy’ and posted a short clip from the music video on Twitter. However, Nigerians commented on the song’s similarity to ‘Who Is Your Guy’ by fast-rising Nigerian singer Spyro.
According to some comments made by Nigerians under Diamond’s post, the rhythm and beat sound exactly like ‘Who Is Your Guy’. Some also accused him of always ‘remixing’ Afrobeats hit songs into his Swahili language.
