Davido announces donation of 237 Million to over 424 orphanage homes across Nigeria.
It will be remembered that the singer requested cash gifts from friends, colleagues, and well-wishers for his birthday celebration. There was an overload of cash gifts from friends and families and right now the singer has announced how the money was spent.
He announced news of the distribution jn a statement shared via his Twitter age on Thursday, July 20th.
The 30-year-old singer wrote,
“I’ve always wanted to use my platform to serve others. Thankful that through your generousity, I’ve been able to do so. We recently disbursed over N200m to several orphanages in Nigeria, a tradition that started a few years ago around my birthday. Thank you to everyone who donated. With your help, we are changing lives. This is what I mean when I say We rise by lifting others. These are words in action. God bless you all!”
