I Turned Down Collaboration With Simi Because She Refused To Get Intimate – Brymo
Nigerian singer Brymo has revealed he turned down a collaboration request from simger Simi because she refused to get intimate.
He made this revelation on Twitter after a fan of singer Adekunle Gold’s suggested that he collaborate with Brymo on his forthcoming album.
Instead of letting Adekunle Gold reply, Brymo replied the fan, revealing that Adekunle Gold had reached out but he turned down the offer just like he turned down Simi’s many years before.
In his words, he asked to get intimate with Simi before they could work, but she turned him down and so the collaboration fell through like that.
In a following tweet, Brymo spoke through voice note about his fantasy to make music with a female artist whom he has been in bed with. He also disclosed he once proposed to Ghanaian singer Efya, too.
He said, ‘There’s a part of me that wants to feel remorse for my requirement for a collaboration with the talented Simi.. yet I am reminded that I was indeed, and honestly seeking to experience the outcome of making music with a female act I was bedding.. I proposed same to Efya too then..’.
