Twitter users have reacted to an unearthed tweet by Afrobeats star Burna Boy appreciating his colleague Davido after winning big at the BET Awards in 2019.
In a 2019 tweet dug up from his official Twitter account, Burna Boy, who had just won his first ‘Best International Act’ BET award then, said he was grateful to Davido.
He had quoted a congratulatory tweet from Davido where he posted his (Burna Boy’s) picture with his BET award, and in the caption, praised him that he was ‘over’ deserving of it.
Burna Boy then replied, calling Davido ‘my bro’ and admitting he had been showing him genuine affection.
