Afrobeats keeps growing bigger, the artists are selling out shows around the world at their choice venues, and new records continue to emerge.

This time, the latest of the unending records has come from Spotify, one of the biggest music streaming platforms in the world. Spotify has let fans know, in its new set of ‘Top 10’ lists, the 10 most exported Afrobeats albums globally.

32-year-old Burna Boy tops the list with his 2022-released ‘Love, Damini’ album, and will also appear for the second time, at number three, with his 2019 Grammy-nominated album ‘African Giant’, following CKay’s ‘CKAY The First’ album.

Wizkid, 33, on the other hand, takes the numbers eight and ten on the list, with his Grammy-nominated ‘Made In Lagos’ and the latest ‘More Love, Less Ego’ albums, respectively.

Both Burna Boy and Wizkid are the only artists with more than one album each on the list. Other artists that equally appear on the list are: Rema, Tems, Omah Lay, Asake, and Fireboy DML.
