Nigerian singer Davido has reacted to the death of his colleague Wizkid’s mother via his Twitter handle on Saturday, August 19.
Wizkid’s mother, Mrs Jane Balogun, passed away yesterday, Friday (August 18) at about 1:30am, according to a statement by Wizkid’s magager, Mr Sunday Are.
Taking to his twitter page on Saturday afternoon, Davido grieved Mrs Balogun’s death, consoling Wizkid that he is paying for him.
He posted, ‘Praying for you my brother @wizkidayo Sadness flies away on the wings of time’.
