Asake ‘Work Of Art’ Album Hits One Billion Streams
Award-winning Nigerian artist Asake has hit a milestone with his sophomore album titled ‘Work Of Art’ surpassing one billion streams across major digital streaming platforms.
Released June 16, 2023, ‘Work Of Art’, the second studio album by YBNL signee Asake, has now accumulated over 1.2 billion streams within just 2 months of release.
The total number was gotten after the streams from five major digital streaming platforms (DSPs) – namely Audiomack, Boomplay, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube – were summed up.
On Audiomack the album had 425 million streams, on Boomplay 174.8 million streams, on Spotify 114 million streams, on Apple Music 135 million streams, and on YouTube 180 million streams.
Note that these streams were what the album had accumulated up until yesterday, August 28. And they must have, obviously, increased ever since.
