I Might Leave Music For Sometime Like Rihanna – Burna Boy
Nigerian music star Burna Boy has revealed how the enormity of his new contract might cause him to leave music for sometime like billionaire American singer Rihanna.
He opened up about this yesterday in a post on his official Instagram story, as he disclosed a mouth-watering contract he was about to sign.
The Grammy winning singer, who dropped his latest album ‘I Told Them’ August 25, said he felt being tested by God regarding his passion for making music.
According to his words, It’s a test period for him to know whether he truly loves music or not, after seeing the ‘numbers’ on a new contract presented to him.
Though Burna Boy failed to disclose what kind of contract it is, his last sentence, nevertheless, proved it might be a business deal worth huge amount of money––enough for him to consider leaving music for sometime like Rihanna, who last dropped an album eight years ago, and has made a fortune from her businesses.
‘With the numbers I’m seeing on this contract,’ he said, ‘these next few years of my life are about to really show if I really love doing music. God must really want to test my love for music. I just might bounce on y’all like Rihanna.’
