Nigerian singer Mohbad has reportedly died at age 27.
According to multiple sources confirming the news, Mohbad, real name Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, died today, September 12.
Although there’s no story on the cause of death presently, tributes have started pouring in from music industry persons, including producers, music journalists, and influencers.
Producer Juls is one of the notable celebrities who have taken to social media to commiserate the promising singer’s untimely death.
He wrote on his X page, ‘R.I.P. Mohbad.’
Music promoter Ovie also confirmed the news. He equally posted on X, ‘Confirmed. Mohbad is dead. Sad, sad day. R.I.P.’
