“I’m Fighting Off A Virus” – Tiwa Savage Cancels All Upcoming Performances
Popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has cancelled all of her upcoming performances to focus on healing from a ‘virus’.
The Afrobeats Queen, as Tiwa Savage is also fondly called, revealed this via her X page on Tuesday, 7 Oct., in an official statement to the public.
Her approaching first-ever arena show in London as headliner has also been postponed, as well as all other perfromances.
Although she concealed the name of the virus in her post, she noted that she has been medically advised to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months.
Hence, she will be putting all performances on hold to fully recover.
The statement read in part: ‘To my Savage Soldiers, I have been fighting off a virus for the past few weeks and was today finally instructed to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months.’
