Ruger’s ‘Ru The World‘ album, for the most part oozes of Jamaican Dancehall and Reggae sound, along the way on his album, he switches to Nigerian Afro-Pop and UK Afroswing.
One thing is certain, Jamaican sound has always held its place in Ruger’s music, it is the means with which he sets himself apart. Songs like Bun Bun, Island Girl and Addiction featuring Stefflon Don shows Ruger’s immense talent.
Bnxn’s Sincerely Benson on the other holds some level of musicality as many of the sound in the album are a bit synonymous, perhaps this is done to accommodate his kind of lyricism and rhythms.
