Justice for Mohbad: Naira Marley and Sam Larry sue the police, demands for 40 million naira.
Following their arrest over the alleged involvement on the death of the Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as Mohbad, Naira Marley and Sam Larry have reportedly sue the police and are now demanding a sum of 40 million naira.
Naira Marley and Sam Larry have filed a fundamental right suits to demand their continued detention. It should be of note that the two have been arrested and detained since October 4 without bail. Right now, both Naira Marley and Sam Larry are demanding that they should be released.
They argued that the magistrate ordered their remand for only 21 days and the period had elapsed. They are seeking “an order of the court releasing the applicants forthwith.”
