Afrobeats sensation Asake, who just dropped his sophomore album ‘Work of Art’, has made a huge debut on the Billboard 200 chart.
On Monday (June 26), Asake’s ‘Work Of Art’ album made an impressive debut at 66 on the popular American albums chart, Billboard 200, having sold 13k units in its first week.
The debut marks his second appearance on the chart. His debut album ‘Mr Money with the Vibe’ also debuted on the chart, making Asake the first Nigeran artist to do such with their first two albums.
In addition, ‘Work of Art’ ties with ‘Mr Money with the Vibe’ as Asake’s highest charting album on the Billboard 200 chart. Both albums’ highest peak on the chart is 66.
