Omah Lay has, in a recent interview hosted by Zach Sang Show disclosed that he had to remake his album after someone stole an idea he shared with them.

Omah Lay is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who gained prominence from his single “Bad Influence” in 2020. His unique blend of afrobeat, R&B, and afro-fusion has produced many melodious songs

The singer was a guest at Zach Sang show, where they talk pop culture with popular stars. Omah Lay on the show had a few things to say about his new Afrobeat style called Holyghost. He called it a new movement and how he was going to make it a new sound but was short-lived because an artist he shared the said idea with hopped on it before he could.

The above event led to the singer having to remake his album and sound

Many reactions have sparked from Nigerians saying the artist in question could be Rema or Victony. They say Rema due to his latest album ” HEIS” and it not being his popular style. Then Victony because well it’s Victony.
