Wizkid Hints New Album “Morayo” Release On Independence Day
The Starboy himself, WizKid has again sent fans into a frenzy as he shared a tease of his upcoming album “Morayo” on Instagram.
Ayo Balogun A.K.A Wizkid has been a major force, and fan favorite in the Nigerian music industry since he released his debut single “Holla at Your Boy” in 2010.
After dominating the global music scene with his record-shattering album “Made in Lagos” released in 2020, fans have been eagerly waiting for his next big project.
Now, that WizKid is back, he shared a tease on his IG Story about his upcoming album. He also hinted at the release date for #Morayo which is the Nigerian Independence Day (October 1st) sending his fans on Instagram and Twitter (X) into overdrive.
Starboy has proven himself without doubt as a trendsetter in the global music scene as seen in his previous album “Made in Lagos” which earned him his first Grammy nomination. With #Morayo, it’s clear he will be taking it to another level, as this album is set to feature Omah Lay, another Nigerian prominent artist, and international stars like Miley Cyrus and Ari Lennox.
