Grammy 2025: Burna Boy, Davido, Asake, Tems, Others Bag Nominations

The Recording Academy has unveiled the nominees for the prestigious 2025 Grammy Awards, with Nigerian artists once again making their mark on the global stage.

Scheduled to take place on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards will celebrate excellence across various musical genres.

Several Nigerian artists earned Grammy nominations for 2025, including Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tems, Asake, Yemi Alade, Rema, and Lojay.

In the Best African Music Performance category, Davido and Lojay’s collaboration Sensational was recognized alongside entries from international star Chris Brown.

Asake and Wizkid were also nominated in the same category for their smash hit MMS, while Tems secured a spot with her song Love Me Jeje. Adding to this list, Burna Boy and Yemi Alade received nods for their tracks Higher and Tomorrow, respectively.

In the Best Global Music Album category, Tems’ album Born in the Wild and Rema’s project Heis also earned nominations, further showcasing the global influence of Nigerian music.
