An old video of Nigerian dancehall artist Ruger freestyling without his signature eye-patch has surfaced.
While Ruger is still trending because of his latest hit single ‘Asiwaju’, a video of his freestyle before he got signed to D’Prince’s Jonzing World and started wearing eye-patch on his left eye has began circulating on social media.
The superstar who now wears eye-patch, since joining Jonzing World in 2021, sings passionately in this freestyle video, which is likely one of his videos that got him a recording deal with D’Prince.
As the singer claimed in an interview before, D’Prince discovered him on Instagram where he would post videos of himself freestyling regularly.
When asked why he decided to wear an eye-patch, Ruger said it’s to honour someone who he respects so much.
