Burna Boy has made history as he officially becomes the first African artist to achieve two solo platinum singles in the US.
According to an official report by Chart Data via Twitter, Burna Boy made history as the first African artist to achieve two solo platinum singles in the US.
This came after he achieved his second solo platinum single in the US with his record-breaking single ‘Last Last’, the song having sold the required one million units.
His first solo platinum song was ‘Ye’, which got certified platinum by RIAA on January 26, 2023.
Burna Boy is now officially the first (and, for now, the only) African artist in history to have two solo songs certified platinum in the US.
