The Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, has officially declared July 7 as Davido Day, to honour the afrobeats star after delivering energetic performance in the city.
After Davido’s epic show at the 19k capacity Toyota Center in Houston last night, the Mayor of Houston honoured him by declaring July 7 ‘Davido Day’ in Houston, USA.
The document carrying the proclamation of the Mayor stated the reason for such huge landmark is to honour Davido for his numerous achievements in the music industry.
Every 7th of July is now ‘Davido Day’ in the city of Houston, to honour the Afrobeats star for his significant role as culture influencer.
