‘I Pray You’re Alive By Then’ – Davido Replies Tweep About Performing At Stadium Like Wizkid
Nigerian music star Davido has reacted to a tweep asking when he plans to shut down a stadium just like his colleague Wizkid recently did.
Yesterday, Saturday (July 29), Nigerian superstar singer Wizkid made history as the first African artist to sell out the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium, of over 70,000-audience capacity, in London.
Since then, Nigerians on social media have been congratulating the star and celebrating the incredible growth of the Nigeria’s music industry—Afrobeats.
Amidst the celebration, a Nigerian on Twitter, by the name ‘Topss’, tagged Davido in his tweet which read: ‘Over to you David, stadium when @davido’?
Although it took him several hours, Davido still replied, with prayer and wish, that the tweep would live long and be healthy to witness the day when he finally shuts down a stadium, adding that it wouldn’t be long.
He wrote: ‘I pray to God ur alive and healthy by then to witness … it won’t be long’.
