May D Claps Back At Wizkid And Fans In Fiery Twitter Exchange
Nigerian singer May D, known for hits like “Soundtrack” and “Ile Ijo,” has sparked a social media storm after an intense exchange with fans of Wizkid.
The drama began when May D praised Wizkid’s longtime rival, Davido, leading to backlash from Wizkid FC, the notoriously passionate fanbase of the Essence star.
In a tweet that set the tone for the heated exchange, May D addressed the attacks: “Because I spoke about David, Wizkid boys are attacking me Lmao even Wiz know I love him, but if y’all come for me I’ll finish all of you and your oga.”
The singer then fired off a series of explosive tweets, taking aim not just at the fans but at Wizkid himself. In one tweet, he wrote: “If no be wetin happen between me and Psquare, who be Wiz? Chai.” This cryptic statement seemed to reference his past fallout with P-Square while questioning Wizkid’s rise in the industry.
May D didn’t stop there. He urged Wizkid to “caution your fans, make dem dey mind their business or else I come for all of you!! As a sure boy!!” Adding fuel to the fire, he boldly declared, “Na person wey dey find favour from Wizkid go dey fear.”
The tirade continued with May D mocking the fans, calling them “bunch of jobless people” whose minds “no fit touch ground.”
