#ThrowBack: OJB Jezreel – Searching + Pretete
It’s no longer news that we lost one of the most talented producer / singer in Nigeria – OJB Jezreel, he may not have been very succesful like most talented Nigerian producers, but he has been a great source of inpiration to many artistes and producers we have in Nigeria today.
In the past, OJB worked with many artistes such as; Paul Play, Ruggedman, X-Appeal, Jazzman, 2face, Wizkid, D’banj, Jut to name a few. Though his most remarkable project would be, the production of 2Face Idibia‘s “Grace To Grace” Album which had African Queen as his top songs produced and still 2Face Biggest song to date by popularity.
OJB past away the morning of yesterday 14th June 2016, 3 years after he had his kidney transplant in india. Tributes has been pouring in from colleagues on social media; K-Solo, P-Square, COSON, Ruggedman.. etc has written their tribute to commiserate with the family.
We at Novice2STAR choose to remember the Late OJB with two of his very popular songs , Searching and Pretete (Bounce)
I have a personal encounter with the song “Searching“, I remember performing this song on my sister’s wedding back in 2008. It was a hit (I think..). People loved it and I even gained loads of female friends then 🙂 .. Thanks OJB.
Enjoy Searching and Pretete by OJB Jezreel below. May his soul rest in peace!.
