“I’m The Highest Paid Artist In The History Of African Music” – Burna Boy Brags

Nigerian Grammy-winning artiste Burna Boy has bragged that he is the highest paid artiste in the history of African music.

The Anybody singer made this claim on Twitter today.

According to Burna Boy, his insatiable desire for money doesn’t change the fact that he’s the most paid African artiste ever in the history of Africa.

“I said money doesn’t satisfy me and it’s my truth but it doesn’t change the fact that I’m the highest paid artist in the history of African music. Believe it or not,” he wrote.

Burna Boy won his first Grammy in 2021 for his critically acclaimed album Twice As Tall nominated in the Best Global Album Category. He joined his colleague Wizkid, who won Best Music Video award, as the the only African artistes to grab the most prestigious music award in the world.
