How Portable Took Over As The Street King From Naira Marley
Portable has taken over as the king of the street from Naira Marley through his consistence and never say die attitude. Following the release of his breakout song Zazzu Zeh, the “Weyrey Olorin (Mad musician) as he often calls himself was presumed not to last. However, he proven to the street that he is here to stay and not only that, he is here to dethrone anyone who stands in his way.
Before now, rapper Naira Marley was holding down the street, from his lewd lyrics to his versatility to rap and sing. There was a time when the word “Marlians” was so big across the social media space that it spread like a wildfire.
However, Portable has proven time and time again that having a niche and focusing on it is a way to go. The singer has always maintained his theme song. Having received a lot of backlash from the people saying that his songs lacks meaning, Portable never bugs, rather he tweak his lyrics a little by releasing Ogo Forever – which is a song filled with prayers and hope.
Talk all you want about him, but the fact remains that Portable is now the king of the street. Share your views and opinions in the comments section.
