Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid shares a hugely exciting update about his upcoming album More Love, Less Ego.
On Sunday evening Wizkid added to his stories on his verified Instagram page that he had completed his 5th album a few days before and that he would see his fans soon.
‘Finished my new album days ago!! See you soon! Love you all foreal! ❤️🖤 🦅 #MLLE’, he wrote.
The new album is a follow-up to the 2020 critically acclaimed ‘Made In Lagos’, off which the fan-favorite ‘Essence’ was released.
The story behind the new album is traceable to the time between Wizkid’s historical 3-day 02 Arena concert in London in last December.
At the time, he announced on Instagram that he was releasing another album titled ‘More Love, Less Ego’ on the last day of his tour.
Untowardly, the tour was pushed back due to Covid-19 outbreak in Canada, where the tour was supposed to end, and the album did not release. From then on, he continued to record more songs for the album.
He once said in an interview that ‘More Love, Less Ego’ would have just three features.
