Some old tweets by popular Nigerian comedian Mr Macaroni trolling Afrobeats star Wizkid has surfaced on Twitter.
The tweets, believed to have been brought out by a hardened fan of the musician, surfaced this afternoon on Twitter.
Mr Macaroni, however, started deleting the tweets following Wizkid’s fans’ savage replies and demand for apology to the singer.
In the tweets, made around 2013, when Wizkid was still building his musical career under Banky W’s supervision, he gives unsolicited opinions on his musicality.
The comedian, in one tweet, said he didn’t think Wizkid could win a Grammy. In another one criticizing the singer’s lyrics, he wrote, ‘E get flows before?’.
All these tweets are no longer in his account, but they were saved by some Twitter users before deleted.
