Popular Nigerian comedian and actor Baba Ijesha has been sentenced to 16 years’ imprisonment for sexual assault.
The Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on Thursday sentenced the actor, whose real name is Olarewaju Omiyinka, to imprisonment of 16 years for sexually assaulting a minor.
Baba Ijesha, as he is popularly called, was convicted for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old daughter of his colleague Comedienne Damilola Adekoya, popularly called Princess.
